Implementing a Regional Partnership
The Hazardous Waste Management Program is a regional partnership implemented through a multi-jurisdictional Management Coordination Committee (MCC). The MCC sets the Program’s strategic direction, implementation policies, and oversees Program operations, including development of budgets and work plans. The MCC operates through the consensus of its five members representing each of the Program partner agencies. The Hazardous Waste Management Program Director works with the MCC to fulfill its obligation and mission. The MCC is enabled through the King County Board of Health (B.O.H. Code 11.04).
